CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM

Be prepared for disaster services, police, fire, prison and emergency callouts. This course will prepare you to become an asset and instill confidence within the emergency services as a first-responder in a crisis.

Faith Theological Seminary response Chaplains are heavily trained First Responders and are eligible to respond while representing Chaplaincy for major disasters locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally. Our program is facilitated by an International Chaplain specialized in crisis, disaster spiritual care interventions

​Our Goal Is to train individuals to be a active component in responding appropriately during disasters, and provide caregiving and support skills for local, national and international ministries. .

Chaplains work with Emergency Operations Centers, , Police, Fire, Prisons, Hospitals, Hospices, and anywhere else is required. They are actively involved not only in their local communities but also throughout their counties, states, nationally, and internationally.

A vital aspect of disaster chaplaincy is “the ministry of presence and providing comfort and hope to survivor individuals and families.”

Suppose you prefer to serve in a more traditional role. Our program will offer you to serve in your community working with your local churches.

Whether you are involved in prison ministry, elder care, hospital, or community events, we come alongside and provide emotional and educational support. Community Care Chaplains offer a bridge between the local church and the community, meeting the needs of those who are hurting and providing local pastoral care.

Faith Theological Seminary Care Chaplain Team is a challenging and rewarding team ministry focused on the local church. This position is designed for professional clergy persons who wish to serve their communities part-time. 

Faith Theological Seminary Care Ministry offer worship services, perform weddings and funerals, and are available for counseling, they conduct local spiritually based seminars and workshops, join in local activities like parades, trade shows, health fairs, etc.

• Chaplain Supportive Spiritual Care
• Grief and loss care
• Risk Screening to identify factors that may affect your recovery
• Facilitation of spiritual issues related to tissue/organ donation
• Communication with your caregivers
• Facilitation of staff communication
• Conflict resolution among staff members, patients, and family members
• Referral and linkage to internal and external resources
• Assistance with decision making and communication
• Advance Directives
